Does MyVapeClub sells nicotine eliquid?
Sale of nicotine eLiquid is prohibited in Australia under current legislation.
MyVapeClub does not sell any eLiquid which contains nicotine
Where can I get nicotine perscription?
Check with local GP if they provide nicotine perscription or you can get perscription and nicotine concentrated shots online from the link below in one place from Wellbeing Medical Centre
https://wellbeingmedicalcentre.com.au/
Where can I get nicotine from?
You can purchase nicotine concentrates from overseas websites for personal use.
As per the new legislation you will need to attach a medical prescription to your order to clear customs for your parcel
Buying concentrated nicotine allows you to mix up nicotine yourself at desired level, it is more convenient compared to shopping for premixed nicotine eliquids as you don’t have to shop from overseas websites frequently if you import a concentrate once and keep it stored in a freezer
You may lookup your options for concentrated nicotine at www.hiliq.com
You can use our promo code “MYVAPECLUB15” to get a 15% discount at HiLiq on your purchase. Choose DHL for a faster shipping option
It is best to choose higher concentrations of 100mg to 200mg in a PG base if you vape regularly.
Stronger the concentrate, less you need to add to your eliquid to get your desired level
What do I need to get started?
To get started you will need a vape kit, eliquid and a set of spare coils
When buying a vape kit you have many options ranging as below:
Inbuilt Battery Kits
Replaceable Battery Kits (Requires purchase of batteries & battery charger as well)
Or you can build a kit by buying a battery mod & a tank from our range
What is MTL & DTL?
MTL – Mouth to lung is inhaling of vapor from a low powered device which produces little vapor, the user has to draw with more effort to inhale the vaper down to lungs, its more closer to smoking a traditional cigarette
DTL- Direct to lung is technique of inhaling vapor from a more powerful vape device with a battery that discharges more current through the coil (heating wire) which is generally of a lower resistance, this allows the unit to burn more liquid into vapor and vape is inhaled to the lungs with less effort
Direct lung devices produce more vapor and provide easy draw and more flavor compare to MTL devices. DTL device will also consume more battery, wick and eliquid to do so in comparison to MTL devices
How does a vape works?
Any vape kit that uses eliquid to produce vapor works by heating up an atomizer coil which converts eliquid into vapor
While the process is same across all units but the functionality of how its done and parts of each vape can be different depending on the make and model of the unit
It is best to do your research before you purchase a vape kit , We recommend to search and watch some youtube videos on the product you are interested in so your get to know the product well before you purchase
A vape kit is made up of following parts:
Mod Battery :
A mod battery is what supplies power to atomizer to convert eliquid into vapor, depending on the unit a mod battery can have different options as below depending on the make and model
Variable wattage: Adjustable wattage unit to control the output power to the atomizer , depending on the unit the variation level can be different for each unit, the units generally has a plus and minus button to adjust the power in small increments and has a screen to be able to display the power level, there are some smaller units which has no screen to display power level and can indicate the power level as a different colour of led indicator built in them, such units have only pre-set variation settings built into them and cannot be used to vary wattage to any other desired levels
Inbuilt battery mod: A rechargeable battery is built into the body of the mod and cannot be taken out, batteries do not last forever and has a life around 300 charging cycles, there performance drops fractionally as they go through these charge/discharge cycles, any batteries that loose performance will not produce enough power and will needed to be replaced, inbuilt battery mods are to be disposed off and replaced with new mods as it happens
Replaceable battery mod: These kind of mods do not include a battery built into the body of mod, when purchasing these kind of units, batteries must be purchased separately to operate these kind of mods, It is recommended to charge the batteries externally on a battery charger for these type of units ,these units work in the same way as a inbuilt battery mod, these mods have longer life expectancy compared to inbuilt battery mods as once the battery has completed its life cycle , user can replace the battery with a new battery cell, the other advantage of these is user can carry spare batteries , charge these on an external charger and swap them over and don’t have to wait for batteries to charge up as in case of inbuilt battery mods
Atomizer Tank / Pod:
The top part of a vape kit where eliquid is stored and heated up is called tank/pod depending on type of the unit, they have different storage capacities and specific coil types for each make and size, these can be of types as below
Pod (Open Pod/Closed Pod) : A pod is generally made of plastic and is a closed system which is disposable after a number of uses as the cotton wick gets used up, generally pod systems are aimed towards small capacities and MTL vaping, An open pod allows you to replace coils whereas you cannot replace coils in a closed pod, the whole pod is replaced in a closed pod system once the wick is used up. In an open pod system you will still need to replace the pods occasionally as the plastic wears off due to heating process and the grip it offers to hold the coils loosen up and leakages will start to occur
Atomizer Tank: these tanks allow the user to swap the coils out as the wick gets used and are reusable & more versatile as compared to pods and depending on the unit they may have options as top airflow, bottom airflow, sub-ohm coil configuration for DTL and higher resistance coils for MTL
Rebuildable RTA/RDA/RDTA: these tanks have rebuildable base for DIY coils where a user installs his own heating wire and wick, this may be cheaper in long run but requires other tools, knowledge and experience to build
Atomizer Coil:
This is a replaceable part and has to be replaced as it gets used up, An atomizer coil is made up of heating wire with cotton packed around it and can come in different configurations of heating wires and resistance to be able to use at different power levels as desired,
When the atomizer coil is powered by the battery the heating wire heats up and heats up the cotton wick packed around it, the cotton wicks soaks in the eliquid stored around it, the eliquid then changes into vapor and is drawn up through the centre of the atomizer to the mouth piece for an inhale, as the cotton burns fractionally each time when it is used to produce vapor so eventually the wick gets used up and has to be replaced, the common signs of a used up atomizer are: loss of vape production, weeping of eliquid into the base of coil as there is not enough cotton to hold the liquid into atomizer or spitting of eliquid into mouth piece when a user inhales as the liquid my passage straight into middle of coil when there is not enough cotton left
The life expectancy of a atomizer coil is depending on the usage, size of cotton, power level it is used at, configuration of heating wire, composition of eliquid used, number of puffs taken, length of each draw
Setting up & maintaining your unit
Setting Up & Getting Started
It is very important to start up in correct way when using a vape unit, make sure to follow some important steps below
Before firing up your battery for the first time, it is important to prime up the atomizer coil with eliquid and allow it to rest for at least 5-10 minutes depending on the size of the coil, Drip some liquid into the side inlets of the coil where you can see the cotton, fill up your tank and allow it to sit idle for above time so the cotton wick saturates with the eliquid, if you fire the coil before it properly soaks in the eliquid, you will experience a burnt taste on inhale as the wick burns dry and this doesn’t goes away unless you replace the wick with a new one as you have just wasted a coil, If you are using a pod system allow the pod to rest idle for 5 minutes sitting on a flat surface before you put it on to the batteryFor replaceable battery systems make sure you identify the negative and positive ends and insert them in proper orientation as marked in the unitThese units utilizes lithium batteries which requires a full charge before you start using them which is good for getting a good life from your batteries, also charge the batteries using a 1A to 2A wall chargerDO NOT Charge Using: Computer, Laptops, Multimedia USB ports for music as they are low output between 0.25 and 0.5 AmpsDO NOT Charge Using: Fast Chargers or Powerbank as these batteries require normal charge for a good battery life not a fast charge which can cause reverse polarisation and your batteries may fail or under performBest to charge with USB Wall plugs of power output between 1Amp and 2AmpReplaceable batteries must be charged on an external battery charger, charging replaceable batteries via USM ports on mods can cause them to malfunction and is not recommendedMaintaining your unit
Clean your unit at least every two weeks or earlier if you use it a lot, this will get rid of any gunk that builds up in the tank due to eliquid and flavours, as this gunk can cause the threads to jam and the threads can become harder to open
To clean the tanks take apart all parts of the tank and rinse under cold water (excluding the coil) , then blow dry with cold air at low pressure , DO NOT use hot water or hot air as they will expand the silicon/sealing rings and can cause leakages
Inspect your replaceable batteries regularly for any scratches, dents or wearing of insulation, if the insulation is damaged, discard batteries and replace or rewrap your batteries before using them as these batteries are dangerous and can explode if shorted
If you are resting your unit and not going to use it for a while clean it well before you put it aside and don’t leave any eliquid in it as it will jam sitting aside and will be hard to open and the sealing rings will decay and cause leakages
Safety Instructions
Always use a charger of 1Amp to 2Amp when charging with a USB adapter
Never charge your battery with a power bank, laptop or computer port to avoid reverse polarisation of batteries
Please be sure to inspect your battery before use to ensure it is not damaged including tears/rips in the battery wrap. Discontinue use immediately if battery is damaged.
Please note: Battery Life depends on usage, higher the wattage you vape on lower will be the time battery will last for
NOTE: Use special caution when working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. We recommend using Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries with a control circuit (protection PCB) to assure safe charge, discharge, etc, use of lithium ion batteries without a protection circuit is potentially hazardous
Safety Warning:
Do not over-discharge or over-charge your battery.Recharge empty batteries (resting voltage of 3.6V) as soon as possible. Batteries that are fully drained and left in a discharged state for a long time could result in irreversible damage.Do not short circuit to prevent massive release of current.Do not dispose in fire.Do not leave unattended inside a vehicle.Do not store or carry your batteries in your pocket, purse or anywhere they can make contact with other metal objects.Do not leave unattended while charging.Discontinue use if the battery looks worn, torn, or is exhibiting unusual behavior
